Darshan Begins With New SOP At Jagannath Temple From Today; Devotees Can Offer Prasad And Light Diyas

Puri: The Jagannath Temple has been opened for devotees with a new set of Standard Operating Procedure from today. The administration has relaxed some of the restrictions in the new guidelines from today. According to the new SOP, the temple will be closed for Darshan of devotees only on Sundays for sanitization and cleaning purposes.

The Darshan timing has also been modified from morning 7 am to 9 pm. Devotees can have Anna Prasad at the Anand Bazaar from today. The new guidelines allow devotees to light diyas at the designated place and offer flowers and Prasad to the deities. Devotees have to show their final vaccination certificates. The temple will remain closed on important festivals and public holidays.
