DAV Berhampur Celebrates 31st Annual Function

Berhampur: With the development of technology we are getting much more knowledge today than ever before but it has its side effects. Smart Phones today are the main culprits for lack of concentration among students. Speaking at the 31st Annual Function of the DAV Public School, senior retired bureaucrat and Political Secretary to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Gopabandhu Dash said parents and the teachers have the greater responsibility to come over this problem. He also cited the examples of Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi and Biju Patnaik in dedicated their lives for the nation.

Speaking on the occasion, Collector Vijay Amrut Kulange said that students should not run behind marks and work hard to achieve the desired career. On this occasion, Principal Dharasri Padhi read out the annual report for the year and explained the various social and cultural activities taken up by the school. Others present on the occasion include the parents and staff of the school and important personalities of Berhampur. Prizes were distributed by the guests to the meritorious students.
