Bhubaneswar: Delegates from 11 countries visited the Cyber Security Operation Centre of OCAC (Odisha Computer Application Centre), a Technical Directorate of E&IT Department, Government of Odisha.
Around 40 delegates from Argentina, Chile, Fiji, Guyana, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago visited OCAC’s Cyber Security Operation Centre (CSOC) under ‘Know India Programme’ of the Ministry of External Affairs.
The delegates witnessed real-time threat intelligence feed and other facilities set up using latest technologies at CSOC.
The state-of-the-art Cyber Security Operation Centre has been set up by the E&IT Department and OCAC under 5T initiative of the State Government. The Centre is an intelligence-driven, automated system that has been playing a key role in protecting data, applications and ICT infra of Odisha from security threats, informed the E&IT Department.
The Know India Programme aims to familiarize Indian diaspora youth with developments and achievements made by India in various fields, such as economic, industrial, education, science & technology, communication & information technology and culture.
