Demand for Expulsion of Pradeep Panigrahy from MLA Post Intensified

Berhampur/Gopalpur: The demand for expulsion of Pradeep Panigrahy from MLA post has been intensified in Gopalpur Assembly constituency in Ganjam district.

People from Gopalpur Assembly constituency today staged a protest at Rangeilunda block office seeking action by Lokayukta Odisha to expel Panigrahy from the legislator post.

They have alleged that Pradeep Panigrahy has betrayed the people of his constituency and defamed the image of Gopalpur. He has duped youths of their hard earned money on the pretext of offering jobs. BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik has expelled the tainted MLA from the party for his anti-people activities.

Despite being the people’s representative, Pradeep Panigrahy had misused his power and position. He has intentionally enriched himself illicitly during his incumbency as a public servant and has amassed disproportionate income worth over Rs 5 crore.

Panigrahy has betrayed the trust of the voters and stooped so low to indulge in anti-people activities. He is no more eligible to represent the people, the protesters alleged while demanding his immediate expulsion from the MLA post.
