Denied Ticket, Kahrabela Swain Announces To Fight Independently From Balasore

Bhubaneswar: In a major embarrassment for the Bharatiya Janata Party, senior leader and former Member of Parliament Mahameghabahan Aira Kharabela Swain has announced to fight independently from Balasore Parliamentary Constituency. He announced his decision to contest the coming Lok Sabha election from Balasore independently after being denied party ticket. The BJP had announced the candidature of Pratap Sarangi from that seat.

Speaking to the media at a press conference, Kharabela Swain informed that he will not resign from the party and fight the elections independently. He also said that, he will not bother if the party dismisses him for this. Kharabela had earlier said that he was interested in fighting from Balasore Lok Sabha Constituency and that he will win with huge majority.
