Devotees to Show COVID Negative Report before Entering Puri Jagannath Temple

Puri: With the darshan of Puri Jagannath Temple for general people beigining today, Puri district administration has made it mandatory to show CCOVID negative report.

Puri Collector Balwant Singh after chairing a review meeting today, said that each and every devotee has to produce his/her negative Covid test result at the designated kiosk, which has been set up near the temple, before entering the Shree Mandir.

The temple, was closed for nine months due to COVID pandemic was reopened on December 23, 2020.

In the first phase, the servitors and their family members were only allowed to enter the temple.

In the second phase, people living under the Puri Municipality were permitted to have darshan of trinity.
