Malkangiri: Odisha Director General of Police Abhay has inaugurated the Jodamba Police Station in Malkangiri’s Swabhiman area. The Police station was functioning from Chitrakonda since 2016. It has been shifted to Jodamba and become fully functional from there.
The DGP also laid the foundation stone of the new building for the Police station. IG Operations Amitabh Thakur, DIG SIW Anirudh Kumar Singh and SP Malkangiri Rishikesh Dnyandeo Khilari were also present on the occasion.
DG Abhay also visited Darlabeda and Hantalguda and took stock of the situation in the Company Operating Bases. He interacted with the BSF and other senior officials. He also had an interaction with the people of Jodamba and Hantal Guda villegers and distributed masks. He advised them to adhere to the social distancing norms in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
