DGP Sunil Bansal On Malkangiri Visit: To Review Security Situation Before Panchayat Polls

Malkangiri: Odisha Director General of Police Sunil Kumar Bansal will be on a one day visit to Malkangiri district today. He will visit the newly set up BSF camp at Hantalaguda in Swabiman Anchal and review the security situation with the officials especially regarding the preparedness for the ensuing Panchayat Polls. Polls in Swabhiman areas are being held after a gap of many years. He will also have a review meeting with the senior officials of the District regarding the overall security situation and anti-maoists strategies in the district.

Senior police officials including Director Intelligence Lalit Das, IG Operations Amtabh Thakur, DIG South-Western Range Rajesh Pandit and BSF IG will accompany the DGP during the visit.
