Bhubaneswar: The State Election Commission announced that the election to the Office of Vice-Chairperson of Dhamnagar Notified Area Council (NAC) will be held on April 20.
According to a notification issued by the Commission, the notice for the election will be issued by the Chairperson on April 13.
The filing of nominations by the candidates will be held from 10 am to 11 am on April 20.
The nomination will be scrutinised from 11 am to 12 pm. Candidates can withdraw their nominations before 1 pm. Voting, if necessary, will be held from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm in case of two candidates or from 1.30 pm till completion of the process in case of more than two candidates.
The counting of votes will be held after the voting is over and the results will be declared on the same day.
