Dharmendra Pradhan Praises Odisha Government’s Transformation Initiatives of Puri and Promotion of Tourism Sector

Puri: Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday praised the Odisha government for its development work in Puri and steps are being taken to promote the tourism sector across the country.

“The development work undertaken by the state government to make Puri a world class heritage city is praiseworthy.” he said after a darshan of Lord Jagannath.

Referring to the Ratna Bhandar of the Shree Jagannath temple, he said “As an ardent devotee of Lord Jagannath, I want that the Ratna Bhandar should be opened. But it all depends on the local administration.”

Similarly, Praising the Marine Drive Ecoretreat Konark initiative, Pradhan said “it’s an excellent initiative by the tourism department to showcase the potential of the State in tourism sector. Tourism footfall in the State is also increasing, he added” . I wish it should be more successful and helps in economic growth of the State and the people.
