Dhenkanal: The Dhenkanal district administration has declared a three-day shutdown in Bhuban NAC area to prevent spread of Coronavirus.
The shutdown will remain in force from August 11 to 13, the admin said.
“More than 100 positive cases have been detected in Bhuban NAC area and out of which more cases are local positive cases. It is also apprehended that persons come from adjacent highly vulnerable district to Bhuban NAC may be a carrier and transmit COVID-19 to other healthy people due to their active exposure. Hence to contain the local transmission of COVID-19 and keeping in view of rising cases of COVID-19 in Bhuban NAC, it is quite essential to take stricter precautionary measures by the District Administration, an order said.
