Dhenkanal: After the detection of more than 40 positive cases of COVID-19 in Bhuban NAC area in Dhenkanal, the district administration has declared a shutdown in the area from August 5 to August 7 to prevent the spread of the virus.
“More than 40 positive cases have been detected in Bhuban NAC area and out of which more cases are local positive cases. It is also apprehended that persons come from adjacent highly vulnerable district to Bhuban NAC may be a carrier and transmit COVID-19 to other healthy people, due to their active exposure”, the Dhenkanal administration said.
In order to contain the local transmission of COVID-19 and keeping in view of rising cases of COVID-19 in Bhuban NAC, it is quite essential to take stricter precautionary measures by the administration, informed Dhenkanal Collector Bhumesh Chandra Behera.
