New Delhi: The West Bengal government has refused to hold a review meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to assess the damage caused by Cyclone Fani, media reports said.
PM Modi, who reviewed the damage caused to Odisha due to Cyclone Fani on Monday, said he wanted to do the same for West Bengal. The PMO had even written to the state about the planned review meeting.
Meanwhile, media reports stated that Mamata Banerjee-led government has replied negatively, adding that officials in the State are busy with election duty.
