Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday heaped praise on Digapahandi Tahasildar in Ganjam district for his extraordinary dedication to duty despite being operated for rectum cancer just a few months back.
Without bothering about his own health condition, Tahasildar Aditya Swain, who is also undergoing chemotherapy, has been working hard to support the Odisha Government’s ongoing fight against the Coronavirus.
Despite being operated for rectum cancer six months ago, Swain is back in the ground to serve the people at this hour of requirement.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik lauded the dedication of the officer and personally called him over phone to express his gratitude.
Earlier, the Newsroom.co.in carried a report highlighting how the official has been working like a frontline warrior putting duty before his own health. Following which, people across the Ganjam district showered praise on the Tahasildar.
