Bhubaneswar: While the higher prices of essential items and food products are pinching the common man, they have got another shock as the oil marketing companies have hiked the price of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 50 today.
With this, the 14.2 kg domestic liquefied petroleum gas cylinder will cost Rs 999.50 in Delhi. The new price will be effective from today. In Bhubaneswar, the cost of a 14.2 Kg LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1026 from today. This is the second hike in two months in the Domestic subsidized cylinder prices. Earlier, this month the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was increased by around Rs 102 to Rs 2,355.5.
The OMCs are continuously increasing the prices of petroleum products and LPG after the assembly elections held in five states.
