Delhi: In a significant development, Mamata Banerjee has been banned from campaigning in Bengal for 24 hours this evening for violating the poll code.
Meanwhile,
Mamata Banerjee has announced to sit-in protest against the ban.
“To protest against the undemocratic and unconstitutional decision of the Election Commission of India, I will sit on dharna tomorrow at Gandhi Murti, Kolkata from 12 noon,” she tweeted.
The ban will continue till 8 pm on Tuesday. –
