Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced Rs Five Crore for construction of new building of Ekamra Sanskrutika Prakashani Bhajan Mandap and Lingaraj Research Centre near Lingaraj Entry plaza. The new building will also have the watch tower facility for visitors. The work for both the new projects will start soon.
It is worthwhile to mention here that 5T Secretary V K Pandian had visited the Lingaraj temple and took stock of the progress of various developmental activities around the centuries old temple a few days back. The Government of Odisha has taken a decision to redevelop the peripheral areas of the temple for better pilgrim amenities.
