Berhampur: Chikiti NAC in Odisha’s Ganjam district has achieved the ODF++ status.
ODF++ status is accorded to an urban area where not a single person is found defecating in the open.
All community and public toilets are functional and well maintained, faecal sludge and sewage are safely managed and treated with no discharge or dumping of untreated in drains, water bodies or open areas at any point of a day in the area.
Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange has congratulated the Chikiti NAC for the achievement.
He also thanked the citizens of Chikiti NAC who have been instrumental in this achievement.
