CM Directs Minister Sushant Singh to Proceed to Raipur, Asks DGP to Remain in Touch with DGP Chhattisgarh
Bhubaneswar:Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief at the tragic death of 7 persons of Ganjam district in a serious road accident in Raipur Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from the CMRF to the next of the kin of the deceased. Naveen also announced free medical treatment to the injured and wished their speedy recovery .
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed Minister Sushant Singh to immediately proceed to Raipur to extend necessary assistance to the victims of the accident. He has also asked the DGP to remain in touch with DG Chhattisgarh for coordination.
