Antaryami Senapati, a Moharir cum Advocate-Clerk by profession, the mastermind of the organized land fraud and his associate Ananta Kumar Pradhan were arrested from Bhubaneswar and they were produced before the Court of SDJM, Bhubaneswar.
They used to sell the land by impersonation, hired identifiers and forging documents, the EOW said while adding that it has already detected eight such frauds involving the duo.
The EOW said that the case was registered basing on the allegation of Lipika Das that her land at Vasanta Vihar at Malipada Mouza in Khurda was sold to one Haladhar Dash by someone who impersonated her before the Sub Registrar, Khandagiri without her knowledge.
