Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health Minister Nabakishore das will today afternoon review the state’s preparedness with regard to Monkeypox. He will discuss about the preparedness of the health infrastructure in the state with senior officials including Health Secretary, Director Health Services and other officials. The state government has already taken precautionary measures to tackle the Monkeypox disease if it poses any threat. As part of its preparedness, the government has made SCB Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack, the nodal centre for management of Monkeypox. A team comprising of doctors from various departments has also been formed for this.
