Bhubaneswar: Member of Parliament from Odisha’s Kandhamal constituency and founder of KISS and KIIT, Dr Achyuta Samanta will be sharing the hot seat with Big B Amitabh Bachan in Kaon Banega Crorepat today.
Samanta, who has claimed the attention of the world through his contribution to the education of down trodden tribal children, will be seen along with actress Taapsee Pannu. The program will be telecast at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television Channel Friday.
As seen in the teaser released, Dr. Samanta will be sharing his life experiences with the audience. His journey from a poor family to become a man who gives education to thousands of tribal children has been widely appreciated.
Kalinga Instititute of Social Sciences, the brain child of Dr Samanta is the world’s largest institution giving free residential education to more than 30 thousand tribal students. His struggling life and the successes through social service and philanthropy have brought laurels for him.
Recently, in the last elections he was elected to the Indian Parliament from the Kandhamal Constituency from Biju Janata Dal.
