Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) today said that the servitors to be engaged for the conduct of Snana Yatra rituals of the Trinity will undergo COVID-19 from tomorrow.
As many as 150 servitors of Daitapati Nijog will undergo the test May 27 and 28 while swab samples of 120 Garabadu servitors will be collected on May 29 and 30, informed SJTA administrator (development) Ajay Kumar Jena.
The samples will be collected at SJTA office, Jena said.
Meanwhile, Khuntia Nijog on Tuesday submitted a list of 10 servitors to be associated with Snana Jatra to the SJTA Administrator (Rituals) .
In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, the SJTA has decided to conduct the Snana Yatra rituals with minimum number of servitors.
