Bhubaneswar: The retirement age of doctors in Odisha has been increased to 65 years from 62 years.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik made this announcement at a high level review meeting here today to take stock of COVID-19 situations in Cuttack and Khordha districts.
“Enhancement of the retirement age in case of Medical Officers of OHMS cadre as well as the Allopathic Insurance Medical Officers under L & ESI Department from 62 years to 65 years”, an official statement said.
