Fighting COVID-19: Kalahandi Introduces Unique Initiative for Contact Tracing

Bhawanipatna: Intensifying its fight against deadly Coronavirus, the Kalahandi district administration has introduced a unique initiative for contact tracing of the people.

The district administration has urged the people to maintain a daily diary to note the contact details of the persons to whom they come in contact with.

Similarly, shops and commercial establishments have also been instructed to keep record of the customers visiting to their shops. The dairy should carry basic information like name, address and mobile number of the person.

Even though, Kalahandi has no active cases of COVID-19, the district administration is leaving no stone unturned to keep the district unaffected by the Coronavirus.

Kalahandi Collector Dr Parag Harshad Gavali said that the initiative will help the administration in contact tracing.
He also appealed to the people to cooperate with the administration to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
