Puri: The first Coordination Committee meeting for this year’s world famous Ratha Yatra will be held today at Puri. The meeting will be held under the chairmanship of RDC Suresh Chandra Dalai and will be attended by all the senior officials of the district. The Ratha Yatra is scheduled to be held on the 7th of July this year. The meeting will discuss various issues related to the Ratha Yatra arrangements. The thrust will be on improving various pilgrim amenities such as road communication, health, cleanliness, electrification, law and order, parking of vehicles etc. The meeting will also discuss about the various rituals associated with the Ratha Yatra.
