Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of the first World Odia Language Conference, Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi and Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department inaugurated a contemporary art exhibition at Buddha Art Gallery, Neeladri Vihar here on Friday.
The exhibition features the artworks of noted artists who received the Dharmapada Award.
Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi president and international sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik and other renowned artists were present during the inauguration ceremony.
The creative works of the veteran artists will inspire the upcoming young artists, the visitors said.
The exhibition will remain open for the visitors till February 7.
The First World Odia Language Conference is a celebration of the antiquity and continuity of Odia, which is one of the six classical languages of India. The three-day conference will begin from tomorrow.
