Bhubaneswar: As cyclonic storm Tauktae intensifies into a severe cyclonic storm and expected to cross Gujarat coast, five National Disaster Response Force teams from Odisha are heading towards Gujarat. A special flight of the Indian Air Force today took off from the Biju Patnaik International Airport carrying the five NDRF team members. They belong to the 3rd battalion of the NDRF situated at Mundali, Cuttack.
Cyclone Tauktae is likely to intensify further into a “Very Severe Cyclonic Storm” in the next 24 hours and is expected to cross Gujarat coast between Porbandar and Naliya by Tuesday afternoon.
