Bhubaneswar: Former Director General of Odisha Police Dr. RP Sharma today took charge as the new Member of Odisha Lokayukta.
Sharma’s name was recommended by the Lokayukta Selection Committee comprising the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court, Chief Minister, Leader of Opposition and others.
Joined as member of Lokayukta. Thankful to Lord Jagannath for providing me an opportunity to work in a field which is close to my heart. Will put my experience to use and help rid the society from the malaise of corruption. Satyameva Jayate.

Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal approved the Lokayukta Selection Committee’s proposal to appoint Dr Sharma as a new member of Lokayukta.
