Raipur: Former MLA Anup Sai was awarded life imprisonment by a session court in Chhattisgarh in connection with the double murder case.
The Raigarh District and Sessions Court of the neighboring State awarded life imprisonment to the former Brajarajnagar MLA for the murder of Kalpana Dash and her daughter in 2016, according to reports.
Anup Sai and his driver were arrested by the Chhattisgarh police in February 2020 on the charges of murdering Kalpana and her minor daughter near Hamirpur forest in Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh district in 2016.
