Berhampur/Bhubaneswar: A fraudster is allegedly seeking financial help by using a fake profile of Dr. Gopabandhu Dash, OSD to Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik.
The fraudster has been trying to dupe people by impersonating Dr. Gopabandhu Dash.
The miscreant has allegedly created a fake profile on Instagram using photos of Dr. Dash and has been asking for money from people through messages.
“I got to know from my contacts that someone has created a fake profile using my photographs and he is sending messages to the people seeking money”, said Dr. Dash.
Dr. Dash said that he has informed the matter to Berhampur SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M and requested him for an investigation to find out the fraudster.
Meanwhile, Dr. Dash has alerted the people about the fraudster through his social media handles and appealed them not to fall prey to the fraudster.
