Ganjam Admin Bans Public and Social Gatherings for Raja Celebration, Restricts Non-essential Shop Opening Timing from 7AM to 2PM

Berhampur: In view of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Ganjam district administration has imposed ban on any kind of public and social gathering during Raja festival celebrations till June 16.

In an order, the district administration has also minimized the timing for the operation of non-essential shops.

All essential shops including garments and stationery can operate from 7 am to 7 pm while non-essential shops will be allowed to open from 7 am to 2pm from June 11 to June 16 2020, the order said.

The order is effective from June 11.

The decision has been taken as part of the measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
