Chatrapur: Riding high on the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5T policy, the Ganjam district administration is all set to launch an innovative campaign “Mo Nibedan’ to strengthen the public grievances redressal mechanism at the grassroots level.
The programme is a GP level public grievance platform that aims to collect feedback from the people at the grassroots level about the implementation and delivery of services to them, said Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.
Under the initiative, the officials of various departments will make extensive field visits to different panchayats to listen to the public grievances and give remedial solutions.
Initially, the programme will be launched in select panchayats in all blocks of the district on pilot basis and it will be covered all panchayats gradually. One GP will be covered once in a month, he said.
The key district officials including BDO and Tahasildar will take part in the ‘Mo Nibedan’ campaign along with all block level line department officials.
The district admin will also sensitize the people about various government schemes through officers at the GP level on the same day, the campaign is held in their area, the Collector added.
