Ganjam Administration Caps Marriage Gatherings At 100; Packaged Food For Guests

Berhampur: In view of the increasing number of infections in other districts and states, the Ganjam district administration has decided to cap the number of guests in marriage functions.

In an order issued today, the administration has imposed restrictions on the number of people who can attend a marriage function. Henceforth only a hundred people can attend a marriage function.

Also, in order to avoid gatherings at such functions, the administration has ordered for packaged food to be served to the guests. This will help in minimising the time of the presence of the guests.

The administration will strictly implement the new guidelines along with those issued by the district and state authorities.
