Berhampur: Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange today visited the oxygen filling station and took stock of the supply chain of the medical oxygen, which is a critical component in the treatment of Covid-affected patients.
The Collector reviewed the process for hassle free oxygen supply.
He reiterated that there is no problem in supply of oxygen to the healthcare facilities for the treatment of covid patients.
According to the district administration, Godavari Gas has been tagged for supply of medicla oxygen for the district.
The district DCHs and DCHCs requirement are comfortably met from Godavari Gas supply. The demand for DCH and DCHC is nearly 1000 jumbo cylinders capacity which is supplied by Godavari.
System are in place for a smooth supply of the O2 gas to all facilities without any hindrance. Round the clock staff are deployed to moniter and police has been requested to help smooth passage of vehicle, the administration said.
Green corrider has been created for transfer a raw material to the facility.
Earlier on Saturday, the Collector quelled the rumors that there is shortage of oxygen in MKCG Medical College and Hospital after visiting the MCH.
