Berhampur: A COVID-19 positive mother has given birth to a healthy baby in Odisha’s Ganjam district.
The Corona positive woman delivered a healthy baby at community health centre Khandadeuli, Ganjam with no traces of COVID-19.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has lauded the dedication of doctors and supporting staff of the community health centre for successfully facilitating delivery of a healthy baby, born to a Covid positive mother.
This will inspire us to stay strong during this pandemic, the Chief Minister said.
“Appreciate the dedication of Doctors & Supporting Staff at Community Health Centre Khandadeuli, Ganjam for successfully facilitating delivery of a healthy baby, born to a Covid positive mother. This will inspire us to stay strong during this pandemic”, the CM tweeted.

It is the second case of covid positive mother giving birth to a healthy baby during the second wave of pandemic.
Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange has congratulated the doctors and supporting staff.
Earlier, a COVID-19 positive eoman gave birth to a healthy baby in City Hospital, Berhampur.
