Chatrapur: With the increase of Covid-19 cases, the Ganjam district administration has decided to launch a rapid antigen test from Wednesday.
As per the plan, door to door screening will also be kicked off tomorrow onwards in urban areas and screening area will be shutdown for three to four days as per requirements, official sources said.
Screening team with oximeter will visit door to door. They will also collect data, if there are any comorbidity patients.
The district administration has appealed all to cooperate and don’t hide symptoms of Covid-19.
Meanwhile, in order to to ensure life and livelihood, the district administration focusing on more coordination and cooperation with active involvement of community. Covid care committees have also been formed at ward level for that purpose.
Local youths are working as Covid-19 monitors.
