Bhubaneswar: A hardcore criminal Chakara Barik has been injured in an encounter in Bhubaneswar early morning today. Upon receiving reliable information regarding the presence of a group of criminals in the Baramunda playground, a team of police personnel reached the spot and tried to apprehend them. During the raid, the criminals tried to attack the police team with country bombs and firing and in retaliation, the police had to fire at the criminals. While injured Chakara has been admitted to hospital, two police personnel sustained minor injured have also been given treatment.
