HDFC Bank Expands Its Operations in Odisha; Launches 29 New Branches in Last 3 Days

Bhubaneswar: Expanding its operations in Odisha, HDFC Bank has launched 29 new branches in the State in the last 3 days of March.

Regional Head of HDFC Bank Deepak Kumar Singh mentioned that Odisha will be the face of New India and HDFC Bank is committed in contributing in the economic growth of Odisha by penetrating more in rural and unbanked GP’s with brick and mortar branches.

With this expansion HDFC Bank is standing with 248 Branches , 6 Smart Banking Lobby and 423 ATM’s in Odisha. 14 out of 29 branches were opened in Rural locations and 12 branches in semi urban locations. Bank has also launched 21 new ATMs in this Financial Year. In FY 23-24 bank has opened 37 new branches with 17 Rural and 15 semi urban branches. This expansion has generated employment of 500 employees in Odisha. HDFC Bank is one of the largest employers in Odisha with more than 5000 employees. HDFC BANK runs a BPO in Odisha managing the National Grid Clearing.

HDFC Bank also runs a Skill center and has skilled 6600 youths in odisha and placed 4755 youth till now.
