Heat Wave Conditions Continue To Cripple Normal Life In State

Bhubaneswar: Normal life in Odisha continues to remain crippled with temperatures soaring more than 44 degrees in various places. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the situation is likely to remain like this for another three to four days. The MeT has also issued yellow warning for five districts. Dry air coming from the West-North West Indian side is causing rise in the temperature in the interior and western Odisha districts. Eighteen cities of the state recorded temperatures of more than 40 degrees yesterday and the situation is likely to remain for another four to five days.

Due to the heat wave conditions, people are requested to not venture out in the day time without necessary works. All precautions should be taken while going out during the day time.
