Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) working president Hemant Soren has taken the oath as the 11th chief minister of Jharkhand on Sunday.
Governor Droupadi Murmu has administered the oath in a oath-taking ceremony which was attended by top opposition leaders at Morabadi ground in Ranchi.
Former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and DMK President MK Stalin were present at the swearing-in ceremony.
The ceremony was also attended by RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, AAP’s Sanjay Singh, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and former Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das.
