Berhampur: Berhampur Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Asish Kumar Behera today landed in the Vigilance net here in city.
The vigilance sleuths have raided the the office and houses of the DFO at several places in the State.
According to sources, a team of sleuths of Cuttack Vigilance Cell conducted simultaneous raids at his office and residences at nine places including the residential flat located in Bhubaneswar, official residence of DFO-Berhampur, Berhampur DFO office room, house at his native place in Bhanjanagar, in-laws house at Ambapua in Berhampur, residence and office room of Digapahandi Range Officer Paramananda Panigrahi in Berhampur and residential house and office room of Khallikote Range Officer Dillip Kumar Martha in Berhampur.
The amount of disproportionate assets that the officer has possessed is yet to be ascertained.
