Bhubaneswar: In a big relief to vehicle owners who are required to affix High Security Registration Plates, the State Transport Authority has issued a notification noting that those who have booked their HSRPs before the deadline and yet to receive or fix them can just show the online booking slip and avoid paying fine. The State Transport Authority has taken this decision as there is a delay in delivery of HSRPs and booking slots getting exhausted.
According to the Notification, it is observed that there is a sudden rise in the Online Bookings for fitment of High Security Registration Plates and some owners are facing difficulties in getting a slot for fitment of HSRP within the time limit. Therefore, in case any vehicle owner has applied for the HSRP online before the last date applicable for the vehicle, he/she shall be exempted from enforcement checking provided they produce the online booking slip during the checking.
