Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today announced the candidates for the by-elections to the assembly constituencies in Balasore Sadar and Tirtol.
BJD President Naveen Patnaik has nominated Swarup Kumar Das for Balasore assembly constituency and Bijaya Shankar Das for Tirtol (SC) seat.
Earlier on Sunday, the BJP declared its candidates for the two seats in Odisha.
The by-elections will be held on November 3.
