The Delta Ranking took into consideration about incremental progress made by over 112 aspirational districts across six developmental areas in December 2020.

Gajapati district made significant progress in the areas of Basic Infrastructure to claim the top position.
Talking about the achievement, Gajapati Collector Anupam Saha said that it is mainly due to timely completion of PMGSY roads under the 5T charter of governance.
As per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, necessary steps were taken to clear all bottlenecks including land and other matters in time bound manner for the early completion of PMGSY roads in the district, he said.
The Collector also thanked the ACS RD Dept for guiding the district administration all through in this endeavor.
Besides Gajapati, another Odisha district Koraput found its place among the top five performers in the same category.
