Berhampur: The Ganjam district administration has relaxed the shutdown, allowing the shops to open from 5AM to 8PM from Monday to Friday.
However, the weekend shutdown will remain in force as per the government order.
“Timing for market has been extended from 5 AM to 8 PM for Ganjam w.e.f from 24th August. Weekend shut down, as per government order, will continue. All shopkeeper has to follow social distancing norms, PANCHSUTRA. We request to wear mask , & follow 2m distance from other person”, tweeted Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.
The restrictions imposed on entry into and exit from Berhampur, have been lifted with effect from August 24.
