Berhampur: The students of Odisha Government-run Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Berhampur have once again exhibited their creativity by making beautiful flower vessel stands from scraps.
Small scrap rods collected during the demolition of concrete buildings have been converted into well designed vessel stands by the ITI students.
These stands are from various structures. They represent the first model old cycles to peacocks. The welding art integrated by the ITI Berhampur students give the vessel stands a new life.
“Now days everybody has a weakness for flower plants. The constraint in space is a big bottleneck. In a small area we can put more and more flower vessels with an architectural look”, says ‘Scrap Man of Odisha’ and Principal of ITI Berhampur Dr. Rajat Panigrahy .
There will be a great demand for these products. It will give a new dimension in the area of entrepreneurship.
Mostly the waste rods costing Rs 15 to 20 per kg are up-cycled and sold at a price of Rs 100 per Kg fulfilling the mission of waste to wealth.
