Holiday Homework Programme: Mass Education Dept Receives over 26000 Calls from Students & Parents

Bhubaneswar: The unique Holiday Homework programme by the School and Mass Education Department has received good response from the students and parents across the State.

The programme has been started from May 1 for the students of Class I to Xth for the summer vacation.

The Mass Education Department on Friday informed that the programme has been successfully running since May 1. Over 26000 calls from students & parents have been received, it added.

“The unique Holiday Homework & Help Desk initiative introduced by S&ME Deptt. has been successfully running since May 1. Over 26000 calls from students & parents have been received. Unwavering dedication of Sonepur district teachers shines as an inspiration for door step monitoring”, the Department said.

The Department has introduced toll-free number along with Help Desk Cell in every district for the Holiday Homework programme. Four teachers including subject experts have been appointed in each centre to guide the students in their homeworks.
