New Delhi: Director-general of the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) Prof Balram Bhargava tested positive for COVID-19 and has been admitted to AIIMS, according to media reports.
Prof Bhargava is leading the apex body for Covid-19 outbreak management in India.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 caseload in the country has jumped to 99.79 lakh, including 3.10 lakh active cases. The death toll stands at 1,44,789.
