Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued Yellow warning for several districts of Odisha till October 2.
The districts are Kandhamal, Boudh, Kalahandi, Angul, Cuttack, Puri, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore and Sambalpur.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over these districts, the IMD predicts.
The met department has also issued Orange warning for the five districts- Ganjam, Balangir, Sonepur, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj and predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall i at one or two places overs these districts.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places overs the districts of Odisha, the IMD said.
The forecast is valid till 0830 hrs IST of October 2.
